Social-Amy Penka

I am an Atlanta native.  I grew up in the Brookhaven area and attended Chamblee High School and Georgia Tech.  Both of my parents also grew up in the Atlanta area.

 

I worked for ten years for Radiant Systems/BlueCube Software/RedPrairie Software in Alpharetta as a Quality/Project Manager until I became a stay-at-home mom to my two boys Aiden (14 years-rising 8th grader) and Finn (12 years-rising 7th grader).  Both of my sons attend Ridgeview Charter Middle School.  My husband, Adrian, is a Vice President with Capgemini Consulting specializing in Supply Chain Management.  We recently acquired our Covid Puppy, Charlie, an Australian Labradoodle.

 

An ideal day in ATL/Sandy Springs would be attending my son's soccer game on the weekend followed by lunch at Moxie Burger and then a fun get together/BBQ at a friend's house in Riverside or enjoying the evening outside on our back deck.

 

I love playing Thursday ladies' tennis or Mixed Doubles at the Riverside Club and socializing with friends.  I love that our neighborhood is a safe and fun place for my children to visit with their friends. 

 

Our family joined the HOA to support our wonderful neighborhood, to meet more of our neighbors, and to ensure that our neighborhood stays a safe place to raise our family.
